2) NCERT Solutions Class 1 Hindi Chapter 2 आम की कहानी ‘(summary)’
This story is based on ripe mango. A girl saw a ripe mango hanging on a mango tree. His mouth filled with water. A crow sitting on the tree in front was also looking at this mango with glee. The girl called her brother and asked him to pluck the ripe mango from the tree with a ‘slingshot’. The girl’s brother targeted the mango with a slingshot. Mangoes started falling from the branch of the tree. Then the crow sitting on the tree in front got up quickly and caught the falling mango in its beak. But as soon as the crow pressed the ripe mango in its beak, it went to the beehive. The beak fell off the mango and fell into a nest on the tree. The crow laid eggs in the nest. A squirrel sitting on a tree picked up the mango that had fallen in the nest. Then the nest eggs exploded and the crows came out of them and started making noise. Due to this noise, the mango came out of the mouth of the squirrel and fell under the turban of the sleeping man sitting under the tree. The girl and the boy became happy.
