Convert Your Long Stay Visa into Residence Permit
A long-stay visa is usually issued to allow you to enter the country. Once you arrive in Slovenia you must visit an immigration center and receive your residence permit.
Once you have obtained your residence permit, you won’t need your long-stay visa anymore.
You must register your residence permit at the Slovenian Administrative Unit, also known as the ‘Upravna Enota.’
